Travel itinerary

  • Day 01: Yangon – Kawthaung – Awei Pila Island (Dinner)

    Upon arrival at the airport in the morning, an English-speaking guide will greet you and escort you to the domestic terminal for your scheduled flight to Kawthaung (Approx: 2 hrs). Kawthaung is the gateway to the Mergui Archipelago, a collection of 800 unspoiled islands in the Andaman Sea. With limited tourist development, the islands are a haven for marine life and the home of a nomadic aquatic tribe, making it a unique and secluded beach destination. After landing in Kawthaung, a member of the Awei Pila Island team will meet you for a 15-minute transfer to Kawthaung Jetty. Then, take a scheduled speedboat transfer to the resort (approx. 2 hours) and arrive at the island for an overnight stay at the luxurious Awei Pila Island resort.

  • Day 02: Awei Pila Island(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

    Begin your days in paradise with a delightful breakfast in a tranquil tropical setting, basking in the sunshine and the refreshing ocean breeze. Spend your leisurely day engaging in a variety of activities offered on the island, from the most relaxing to the most thrilling:

    Water Activities and Services:

    • Explore the underwater world through diving or complimentary snorkeling for in-house guests
    • Glide along the crystal-clear waters on a complimentary kayak or take SUP water sport lessons
    • Discover the archipelago on a boat excursion or enjoy a sunset cocktail and BBQ dinner

  • Day 03: Awei Pila Island(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

  • Day 04: Awei Pila Island – Kawthaung – Yangon (Breakfast)

    After breakfast at the resort, it’s time to bid farewell to the serene paradise of the Mergui Archipelago and head back to Kawthaung by speed boat (approx: 2hrs). Upon arrival in Kawthaung, you will be driven to the domestic airport for a flight to Yangon (Approx: 2 hrs). Once you arrive in Yangon, you will be transferred to your hotel or to the Yangon International Airport for your onward journey. This marks the end of your unforgettable journey exploring the islands of Myanmar.
