Routing : Yangon – Mandalay – Amarapura – Ava- Sagaing- Monywa- Pakkoku, Bagan- Heho- Pindaya- Inle - Yangon


Day 01: Yangon Arrival

Arrive Yangon Int'l Airport by Int'l flight. Meet and greet at airport and welcomed by our experienced Engish Speaking guide and transfer to hotel. Check –in Hotel. Start Yangon City tour with Experienced guide by Air-con Coach. First visit to Yangon Colonial Style city center. Visit Sule Pagoda dating back over 2,000 years ago. Heading to Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda to see a huge reclining Buddha image and visit to the great Shwedagon Pagoda: its golden stupa is the 'heart' of Myanmar. Enjoy sunset at Pagoda. Drive back to hotel and leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Yangon – Mandalay- Mingun – Mandalay ( B )

Morning B'fast at Hotel. Check –out hotel and transfer to Airport. Depart for Mandalay by domestic ( 1 hr& 30 mins flying). Heading to Mandalay ( 1 hr driving ) and check-in hotel . Start excursion tour , visit the Shwenandaw Palace also known as Former Royal Palace , Continue visit the f amous Mahamuni Pagoda .Stop to see stone carving and later to see gold leaf being beaten into wafer thin pieces. After lunch ,transfer to Jetty and cursing to Mingun about 1hr upper river from Mandalay . Visit Mingun Bell : the world largest uncracked bell, weighing 90 tons and continue Hsinbyume as well as unfinished Pagoda built as one of the world's largest chedis by king Bodaw Paya . After sightseeing sail back to Mandalay and enjoy sunset the beautiful river Ayeyarwaddy . Arrive Mandalay and transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel .

Day 03: Mandalay – MayMyo (Pyin Oo Lwin ) – Mandalay ( B)

Morning B'fast at Hotel. Drive to Pyin Oo Lwin ( Former Hill Station ) east of Mandalay ( 80 km , 2 hrs drive ). a delightful small town of colonial –style buildings , markets , and a botanical garden. Excursions to Pwe Kauk water Falls , Kandawgyi botanical garden and horse cart riding .Drive back to Mandalay and Transfer to the hotel.Overnight at hotel

Day 04 : Mandalay – Amarapura – Ava – Sagaing – Monya ( B)

Morning B'fast at Hotel. Check out hotel and heading to Amarapura ,visit to 200 years old U bein teak bridge , built in 1728. Continue visit traditional hand – woven silk workshop and Visit to the former Royal Capital of Inwa ( AVA ) with local boat ( 10 minutes ) located on an island between the Ayeyarwady and the Myitnge Rivers. Visit Inwa by charming horse, visit to the impressive wooden monastery of Maha Aungmye Bonzan ,.Visit to the Nanmyint Watch Tower ,the remains of the palace building .After visit , the journey continues Khaung Mu Daw Pagoda at Sagaing and the Sagaing hills , a retreat for Buddhist devotees and after visit , the journey continues to “ Monya” ( 4 hrs driving ) pass through varied agricultural landscapes and villages . Arrive Monya and check in hotel . Overnight at hotel.

Day 05: Monywa – Pakkoku- Bagan ( B)

Morning breakfast at hotel. Visit morning local market. Transfer to the jetty and cross the Chindwin River by local boat and drive to visit a sandstone cave system in the Phowin Hills and then visit Shwe Ba Taung. Return to Monywa. Drive to Pakokku (2 hr drive) and arrive Pakokku and visit local market to see people ways of life. Proceed to the north of Pakokku (20km), the remains of Pakhangyi, 19th century town with old city walls. Transfer to the jetty and will take local ferry boat trip to Bagan (Approx: 2 hrs crusing : depends on the tide and weather). Will arrive to Bagan before sunset. Transfer to the hotel and leisure.Overnight at hotel.

Day 06: Bagan ( B)

B'fast at Hotel. Visit Nyaung U morning market.Continue visit to the most significant pagodas and temples of Bagan including Shwezigon Pagoda, Annada Temple, Thatbinnyu Temple, Gubyaukgyi (Wet Kyi –in) temple. Transfer to the hotel and leisure. Afternoon visit one of the Myanmar's most treasured handicrafts, a lacquer ware home Industry: near by Myingabar village. Continue visit to the Damayangyi Temple (the massive temple in Bagan). Enjoy sunset at Rivre along Ayeyarwddy .Transfer to hotel and leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07: Bagan- Salay- Mt. Popa – Bagan

Morning B’fast at hotel. Drive to the by passing through Chauk, , old Burma Oil installations , Kyaukpadaung to visit the local market. Continue to Salay, to visit the Yokesone Monastery, which is the oldest surviving wooden monastery hall built on 154 teak posts with beautiful woodcarvings decorating the outer walls. Continue drive to Mount Popa enjoying the magnificent view over Mount Popa. Late afternoon, visit Mount Popa, a core of an extinct volcano, 1518 meters high and believed to be the abode of the legendary “Nats” (spirits). Return back to Bagan and transfer to the hotel.

Day 08: Baan - Heho- Pindaya ( B)

Morning B'fast at Hotel. Transfer to the airport. Departure for Heho by flight. (30 min flying). Arrive Heho and drive to Pindaya (Approx: 2 hours) an interesting drive up into the hills and across the Shan Plateau through fields of mountain rice. Check in hotel and leisure. In the afternoon, visit magnificent Pindaya caves. Continue visit some local houses where families produce Shan paper and parasols. Evening stroll along underneath the old Banyan trees – which are said over 200 years old. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 : Pindaya –Inle ( B )

Morning B'fast at Hotel. Starts drive down into the valley to Nyaungshwe on the edge of the Inle Lake : famous for its unique leg rower; by A /C coach ( about 2 ½ hours). Arrive Nyaungshwe and proceed to Inle lake by local boat and Check-in Hotel. An excursion by boat on Inle Lake, heading to the middle of Inle lake including Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the holiest religious site in Southern Shan State. Floating Market Villages & Gardens where fruit and vegetables are grown. See traditional handicrafts – silk weaving on wooden handlooms and a blacksmith shop. Stop at Ngaphechaung Monastery which is famous for its (Jumping –Cats Show). Transfer to the hotel and overnight at hotel.

Day 10 : Inle – Indein – Inle ( B)

Morning B’fast at hotel, an excursion by boat to the Western Shore of Inle Lake to the beginning of a stair path leading to the hidden and unknown Inn Dein Pagoda complex. Return back to hotel. Free and leisure. Enjoy sunset at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11: Inle- Nyaung shwe- Heho-Yangon ( B)

Morning B’fast at hotel. Transfer to the Heho airport depart for Yangon by schedule flight. (Approx: 1 ½ hr flying) and arrive Yangon airport. Visit to to Yangon's Unique Glass Factory which has changed very little over the years. Continue visit to the the Bogyoke Market (Scotts market) with hundreds of food, clothes, handicrafts and gems store. Transfer to the hotel and leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 : Yangon Departure ( B)

Morning B’fast at hotel. Free and leisure until deperature. Transfer to airport depart for next destination.

  How To Get There  

Yangon International Airport and Mandalay International Airport are the main gateways into Myanmar. There are regular flights to Yangon from Bangkok and Singapore. Also there are direct flights to Yangon from Abu Dhabi, Bandar Seri, Begawan, Bombay, Calcutta, Shiang Mai, Chaka, Hong Kong, Islamabad, Jakarta, Karachi, Kuala Lumpur, Kunminag, London, Osaka, Paris and Taipei. ( Link International Flight to Myanmar).Also Cruise Ships call at Yangon Port with Visa on arrival being gratned with prior arrangement.

Passport & Visa   

A valid passport with Entry visa is required for all tourists & businessmen, applicable at Myanmar Embassies and Consulate General Offices abroad. Both Tourist Visa & Business Visa are valid for 28 days, extendible to 14 days for tourists & 3 months for business.
Visa on Arrival is granted on prior arrangement with the Ministry of Hotels & Tourism to chartered flights and cruises & to those package groups where Myanmar Foreign Missions are not stationed. Visa on arrival can also e arranged on special basis to package group tours applicable three days in advance to the Ministry of Hotels & Tourism. At present, Myanmar extends visa free facilities for ASEAN Government Officials holding diplomatic and official passports.
Overland entry is permitted to Thai tourists with border pass and for third party tourists with visa at Tachileik, Three Pagoda Pass, Myawaddy, Mongla and Kawthaung checkpoints along Myanmar-Thai Border; and similarly for Chinese tourists with border pass and for third party toursits with visa at Lwe-je, Nam Kham, Muse, Chin Shew Haw, Kyukoke, Kwanlong, Mong Lar along Myanmar-China Border.

Customs Formalities   

Foreign currency exceeding the equivalent of US$ 2,000, jewelleries, cameras, video cameras, recording equipments and laptop computers must be declared at the airport. Failure to do so could end up in confiscation upon departure. Export of antiques and items of archaeological value are prohibited.

Health issues:  

No immunizations are formally required, although malaria prophylaxis are often recommended by personal physicians. Occasionally, typhoid, hepatitis, tetanus and Japanese encephalitis vaccinations are also recommended. Drink only bottled or boiled water not any tap water. All hotels supply bottled water, as well as a good selection of Asia and Western foods. Use sunscreen liberally when exposed to the intense, tropical sun.

Travel Insurance   

Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is the passenger's responsibility to verify whether his/her local health insurance carrier provides coverage while traveling inside of the Myanmar. Please contact your insurance carrier for details. We are strongly advises that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your tour; including the loss of deposits through cancellation, lost of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death. A waiver must be signed if insurance is declined

What to wear:  

Casual and light clothing is recommended for Myanmar all year round. A light sweater or jacket will be useful during the cool season and when travelling in northern areas. Shoes and other footwear must be removed when entering religious buildings and homes. Mini skirts, shorts and revealing clothes are prohibited when visiting temples and pagodas.

Things To Buy   

Shopping in Myanmar is better than ever now. Bartering is also quite acceptable .In larger towns and cities the best bargains are usually found in the public markets .Each place has its own especially such as lacquer –ware in Bagan , textiles such as silk , cottons , etc in Mandalay & Inle Lake ( Shan Bags can be found as well ) , wood carving , tapestries , marionette in Mandalay are main souvenirs from Myanmar .The rubies and jades are also famous but be aware before purchasing , Simulated antiques, fine ceramics and copies of famous paintings are also possible to buy .Most of the Souvenirs shops in the main town accept U$$ OR Euro but they are not favored . The most convenient currency to pay in Kyats –local currency all over Myanmar .
